Free Dental Clinic in Suffolk

Saturday, March 8, 6:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (see screening info below)
King’s Fork Middle School, Suffolk

Patients will line up outside the building and wait their turn to see a dentist on a first-come, first-served basis, according to a news release.

No child care or food will be available onsite, but there will be a translator for Spanish-speaking patients.

The last patients will be screened at 10 a.m., and the last patients will leave the clinic at 5 p.m.

The clinic will be held in conjunction with community dentists, about 300 volunteers, the Virginia Dental Association Foundation, the Virginia Dental Association, and the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry.

Support comes from Suffolk Public Schools, King’s Fork Middle School, the City of Suffolk, Suffolk Police Department and Suffolk Fire and Rescue.

Funding for the clinic comes from Obici Healthcare Foundation, the Virginia Health Care Foundation, Sentara Obici Hospital, Suffolk Rotary Club and from the community.
