Active Parenting of Teens and Preteens
Kids today seem to mature earlier than ever! Active Parenting of Teens and Preteens focuses on communication, mutual respect, and more! Our program is designed for parents of teens and preteens-children in middle school and even younger.

When: Monday nights, beginning January 10th

Time: 6:00-8:00pm

Cost: $50.00 per participant or $75.00 per couple

The 6-session program emphasizes:

• teens and technology (social networking sites, the Internet, etc.)
• improved discipline and communication
• the latest in teen drug use prevention (including prescription drugs)
• updated teen sexuality issues
• special stepfamily considerations
• teen depression and suicide
• updated gang & violence prevention
• how brain development affects teen behavior and decision-making

After participating in Active Parenting of Teens and Preteens, parents are better prepared to raise teens who are cooperative, responsible and able to resist peer pressure. These teens are then empowered to become adults who live happy, independent and productive lives.
